Quote"Every man dies. Not every man really lives." - William Wallace

AGENDA:

1. DO NOW: Draw the brain on a sheet of paper. Use the drawing on the screen to assist you. We will label the lobes today.
2. Students will read the article & discussWhat Does MS Feel Like? by Julie Stachowiak, Ph.D.

Neuron: Review.
Nervous System: ANS, PNS, CNS

3. Notes, Video, Discussion
Lobes of the Brain; Parts/Functions of the Brain; The Teen Brain
Parts/Functions of the Brain; Endocrine System compared to Nervous System. Also, the Teen Brain (with video)

4. (if time)  Crash Course Psychology #4 - The Brain
In this episode of Crash Course Psychology, we get to meet the brain. Hank talks us through the Central Nervous System, the ancestral structures of the brain, the limbic system, and new structures of the brain. Plus, what does Phineas Gage have to do with all of this?
Students will take notes; Duez will pause & discuss important points throughout.
