    For those of you in AP Euro and AP US History

    In this video Heimler walks you through the details of what you need to know for the digital AP exams for 2021. Everything here applies to AP World History, AP U.S. History, and AP European History. 

    The digital 2021 AP Exams have a lot more requirements and details than the digital (online) exams you took last year (2020), so you need to make sure you keep up to date on the requirements the College Board is putting out. Here I'll take you through some big ideas:

    1. General Information about the digital exam, including whether the digital exam is easier than the paper exam.

    2. Security measures, including what the College Board is doing about cheating on the 2021 AP Exams.

    3. Tech requirements.

    4. What you need to do to get prepared.

    5. A sample of the questions you'll see in the digital testing application. 

    Additionally, I'll take you through the process you need to follow if you have submission issues after completing your exam.

    Thursday - 4th Period

    Today I am out due to an appointment at NRG to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. I feel like I won the lottery. Very lucky to get it. 

    Students will watch the documentary, "A Class Divided" link to it below and it should be also already pulled up on the monitor. 

    Explain to students that they can take notes and we will discuss it tomorrow in class. 

    Reminder: Article on Schoology: The Rarely Told Story of Zimbardo's Prison Experiment is due by midnight on Friday. And the quiz for Social Psych is next Thursday.

    Students eat "C" Lunch from 12:08 - 12:36. 

    Should be able to finish the documentary before lunch. It is 50 minutes. 

    After lunch they can use that time to work on the article on Schoology or work on other class work.

The Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes classroom simulation by Jane Elliot in 1968. On Friday we'll review that and catch up. I didn't realize that we would be losing 1st and 3rd periods on Wednesday completely.
