Learning Target: 
Explain how psychologists use consistent research principles to test a hypothesis and conduct experiments.

Agenda: 
1. Students will have 10 minutes to work in groups to create a skit that shows the fundamentals of research. These are made up scenarios and the groups will act as if they have done the research. Each person in the group will stand before the class and model such concepts as hypothesis, independent/dependent variable, experimental and control groups, conclusion. Use positive or negative correlation to explain your conclusion.
2. Lecture and Discussion on Chapter 2 Research Method (will continue the discussion with questions prior to exam on Thursday).
3. Quiz on Chapter 2 Research Methods. Last 15 minutes of class.

Test on Thursday - last 60 minutes of the period. We'll discuss the chapter and review concepts for 30 minutes before the test. Come prepared with questions you might have regarding the chapter objectives.
